About This Venue
The Pla-Mor Ballroom opened December 23, 1929, and has run as a Lincoln dance hall ever since, making it one of the longest-operating event venues in the city. Located on West O Street at the western edge of town, the ballroom accommodates up to 600 guests around a large dance floor, and Sunday Country Nights with free 7 p.m. dance lessons keep the room in regular public use between private bookings.
The rental terms are unusually friendly for the budget end of the market: no hidden charges, renters choose their own caterer, and all bartending services are included at no extra cost, with the venue running a full bar. There is no in-house DJ, though staff will recommend one, and some decor restrictions apply by contract. It is best for quinceañeras, graduation parties, class reunions, company holiday parties, and big weddings on a controlled budget.
