The Gillespie

The Gillespie occupies a 1929 Art Deco building on West Market Street in downtown Louisville, its interior showcasing Corinthian-style columns, original marble, rich hardwoods, gold accents and crystal chandeliers. Its primary spaces are the Grand Ballroom, which can hold up to about 850 guests, and The Loft, accommodating up to roughly 400, with additional smaller rooms for parties of 350 and 100; the adjacent sister space Passalino's is also available.

The venue offers beverage packages running roughly $22 to $39 per person for four-hour service, with event staffing billed separately, placing it in the mid-range tier for a downtown ballroom of its scale.
