Knoxville Convention Center

The Knoxville Convention Center anchors the south end of World's Fair Park at 701 Henley Street, adjacent to the Sunsphere and connected to downtown hotels, including a covered footbridge from the nearby Hilton. Its centerpiece for private events is a 27,300-square-foot divisible ballroom that seats up to 1,850 for a formal banquet or 2,600 in meeting configurations, supported by additional exhibition halls, meeting rooms, and lecture spaces.

Food service is handled in-house by SAVOR, the center's catering operation, which works from a 5,000-square-foot catering kitchen — banquets, plated dinners, and receptions are produced on site rather than trucked in. The building hosts conventions, seminars, banquets, weddings, concerts, and competitions year-round, with professional event staff assigned to each booking. The divisible ballroom means groups of a few hundred can rent a section rather than the full floor. It is best for large corporate conferences, galas, holiday banquets, and weddings beyond the capacity of standalone venues.
