About This Venue
Jackson Terminal is a former freight depot built in the 1880s for the East Tennessee, Virginia and Georgia Railroad, now operating as an event venue at 213 W. Jackson Avenue in Knoxville's Old City. The restoration preserved the building's railroad-era materials — century-old brick, oversized wooden doors, and exposed rafters — giving the single large hall a warehouse character that needs little added decor.
The venue handles up to 200 guests for weddings and around 250 for social or corporate events, and its open floor plan accommodates seated dinners, cocktail receptions, and live entertainment in various layouts. Its position in the Old City puts guests within walking distance of downtown hotels, restaurants, and nightlife. Jackson Terminal is managed by Spaces in the City, which operates several downtown Knoxville venues. It works best for weddings, company parties, and large milestone celebrations that want a historic industrial room in the middle of the city's entertainment district.
