Five Thirty Lounge

Five Thirty Lounge is a rooftop cocktail bar ten stories above Gay Street, on top of the Hyatt Place that occupies the historic Farragut Hotel building in downtown Knoxville. The indoor lounge is wrapped in 15-foot glass panels around a central bar; outside, two terraces face opposite directions — the City Terrace looks west over downtown (65 seated, 85 standing) and the Mountain Terrace looks east toward the Smokies (100 seated, 120 standing), with a fire pit and regular live music.

Private events run Sunday through Thursday and include full-service catering, an integrated sound system, and up to four hours of use; rental rates carry food-and-beverage minimums that vary by date and time, and the lounge asks for inquiries at least 72 hours ahead. There is no dedicated events email published, so booking starts by phone or the site's inquiry form. It is best for cocktail-style corporate receptions, birthday and anniversary parties, and after-hours gatherings built around skyline views.
