The Meadows Events Center occupies more than 34,000 square feet inside the Prairie Meadows casino, racetrack, and hotel complex in Altoona, on the east edge of the Des Moines metro. Over 20 rooms in dozens of layout configurations serve groups from small board meetings up to roughly 2,000 guests, supported by in-house audiovisual services and chef-prepared banquet catering.
