The Livery

The Livery occupies a beautifully restored 1800s livery stable in the heart of downtown Lexington, where original limestone walls, heavy timber beams, and iron hardware tell the story of the building’s equestrian past. The industrial-chic renovation preserved these historic elements while adding modern lighting, climate control, and a sleek bar area.

The open floor plan works well for both seated dinners and cocktail-style events, with the exposed stone walls providing a dramatic backdrop that requires minimal additional decor. A mezzanine level offers an intimate lounge space or DJ platform overlooking the main floor. The venue’s East Main Street location places guests in the center of Lexington’s dining and nightlife district, and preferred catering partners offer everything from bourbon-themed tasting menus to classic Southern fare.
